  We went here as a special treat for a friends birthday. To give you some background into how important things like this are, my friend is usually so unselfish she never gets to treat herself to any experience & having 3 children makes it hard to go out to restaurants that cater for adults only, plus she lives about an hour out so this was a big deal for her and for us. Well, she had booked midweek, and got an email confirmation back with the booking and a special promotion they were running that offered the weekend special on weekdays and a free bottle of champagne. She rang to confirm this would be ok and someone on the afternoon shift said that it was still valid (naturally because she had recieved the email but she wanted to check) We get there and the waitress explains the midwek special and we advise the email and from there it goes downhill. Not only did she not believe us about the email, which we then showed her, but she angrily had a conversation about it with her manager and all other staff right next to where we were sitting. Completely unprofessional and rude. She never once apologised just made an annoyed and angry case that she couldnt provide what we had been offered. It would have been fine except she left us with "You can decide if you want to stay or go" and made us feel completely uncomfortable. We stayed and they gave us the bottle of champagne on the house- they could have saved that $110 by just apologising because thats literally all we needed, but the waitress was too proud and too rude. She said shed speak to the people responsible for the email, which is great, but im not sure she understands the problem was her being defensive instead of apologetic. I cant remember her name but she said she had been there for years. The food is exceptional, but something needs to be done about the way they treat their customers. It ruined what was supposed to be a very special night for a beautiful friend, and we left exact change with no tip. Be nicer and more understanding to people next time, and have the deceny to at least start with an apology for the mix up and take the conversations about it out the back so customers dont hear.

  Delicious food and professional staff. I always ring ahead to book a vegan churrasco with no capsicum as I'm allergic and it's never an issue. They do a whole menu just for me, which I really appreciate.
